Directed by Hong Sang-Soo
The South Korean cinema of Hong Sang-Soo is a modern day marvel of manners, humour and minature epics. Fresh from its world premiere in Locarno last month, we present his latest feature. Jeon-im works at an art college in Seoul, and practices as a textile artist. Working on the production of a college festival alongside a student director from another University, it surfaces that he has dated three of the cast members. Suddenly the production is in crisis. She calls on her estranged uncle, a celebrated actor and director himself, to help. There is only one week left to the big event.
